Scope and Motivation

This Symposium partners with the IEEE Digital Privacy Initiative and is open for paper submissions on topics related to any aspect of Security & Privacy in Blockchain or any other related emerging Technologies. The capabilities of BlockChain are based on applied cryptology which aligns with many traditional security practices and supports the many direct connections to existing applications, features, and frameworks in security and privacy. This Symposium is open to discussing the relationship between Security, Privacy, and Blockchain or other emerging Technologies in any area, from Academia, Government, or Industry.


Topics of Interest

We invite submissions on a wide range of research topics, spanning both theoretical and systems research, including results from industry and academic/industrial collaborations, related but not restricted to the following topics:
